Covid-19 Poster

The challenge of this poster was to create a flyer around Covid-19. It was created at the beginning of quarantine. The main purpose of this flyer is to inform the community about covid-19, in particular its symptoms. the fonts, Neuzeit Grotesk and twentieth century, were used as big type in order to grab the viewer’s attention, but in a way to not raise alarm rather to raise awareness.

The layout of the image is meant to be easy on the eyes, so it is understandable. The hexagonal shapes bring more dimension to the layout, while also reinforcing the scientific ideas behind this. The illustration is a representation of the virus which is used to reinforce the severity of it. The color scheme was meant to grab people’s attention, but also the colors are meant to promote health and growth during these hard times.
