Femme

The challenge for this way to create an app idea, logo, and 2 icons. I decided to create a Dating App aimed at LGBT Women because there are not many out there. When creating this, I wanted to use the symbols of Venus, The goddess of Love. Using those symbols paired with the colors pink and white were to denote a feeling of love and compassion, but also making it feel refined.

With research I wanted to coin the word “femme” as a term of power so using the sans serif font makes it very strong and refined when plastered all around in all capital letters. Using the color pink and symbols of Venus, goddess of love, it makes the UI refined and chic but creates a hopeful and inviting space for LGBT= women in the dating market.
