Houston Zoo Flyer

The Challenge was to design a zoo flyer that is suitable for a 6-12 year old audience. I created this flyer to act as an educational tool for viewers of this zoo. The animal I chose was a pacific sea nettle, a jellyfish. Jellyfish have fun shapes and lines with them, so the illustration was quite easy to make fun! I partnered this image with a fun background to grab the viewer’s attention and identify the animal.

The font family, Bernhard Gothic, was used to create the thick display font and the thinner font. This font family had an versatile range allowing me to create a play of big fun type and smaller more serious type for dynamic designs.
