Museum Brochure (Original & Redo)

In creating a Brochure for the museum of Sex (MOSEX) Exhibit, The challenge was to be just as playful with the ideas of sex as the museum is. In this first version , the use of the light blue color and message box is used to simulate the idea of technology in a paper format, but there is the lacking of the intersection and playfulness of sex.

The playful illustration of the phone and sexual icons adds a small sense of humor to it, but it still felt lackluster. The infographic is quite fun and brings in a real world numerical connection. The colors are meant to match the exhibit, so the viewer gets the direct connection between the two.

The font is meant to be easy to read, while also giving energy to the viewer while being serious and informative about this exhibtion.

Brochure Redesign

In this redesign, I wanted to run more with the phone idea. The cover is a text message app to draw in the viewer and automatically connect ideas of tech to sex. Still using the blue and message icons, but pushing it further even encompassing images within the chat bubble brings in the text aspect. The stroke on the images are meant to create the impression of the message bubbles without actually using them.

I also wanted to push everything outside of its column creating text blocks that surround the circular image to create a viewing area that feels as though it is looking into the exhibit rather than just an image of it.
